Cancer camps encourage you to step out, take a risk, meet new friends and learn to trust your body again. After all the things you “have to” do because you were diagnosed with cancer…these are things you “get to” do because you had cancer! Quoting our inspiration Cassie; “Don’t take the easy road, take risks!”.
CHSCF presents Base2Summit. Spend 6 days in Northern Michigan canoeing, hiking and exploring the Mitten.
There are many cancer camps offered for young adults throughout the United States. Here are some of the ones we recommend, including Camp Mak-A-Dream, which Cassie herself attended.
Typically scheduled for a weekend, these young adult Cancer Conferences feature inspirational speakers, workshops addressing the unique issues you may face and a ton of “after hours” fun!
