Eagle Mount’s Big Sky Kids Young Adult Retreat is a traveling camp for young adults ages 16-23 who have reached remission.
Location: YAR is a traveling camp with an itinerary that changes from year to year, so veteran campers get to see many different aspects of Montana’s beauty.
Duration: A full week.
Age: 16-23 years old, in remission.
Cost: FREE to cancer survivors!
Description: For a full week, you’ll be immersed in adventurous outdoor activities, the camaraderie of a small group, and the opportunity to develop the unique and powerful leadership skills within yourself. YAR is a traveling camp with an itinerary that changes from year to year, so veteran campers get to see many different aspects of Montana’s beauty. The 2012 YAR took place in Yellowstone National Park where they explored its majestic scenery, wildlife, and wide open spaces. The retreat is medically supervised by a volunteer nurse or paramedic. The only cost is transportation to and from Bozeman, MT.
